About the IBSC

The Institute for the Biology of Stem Cells (IBSC) encompasses research, training, and facilities. We aim to support and advance stem cell research by promoting interdisciplinary discoveries in biology, engineering, and information science to enable cures. One of our main goals is to educate and train tomorrow’s stem cell researchers. Please join us in supporting our outstanding students!

Why you should support our project

Our project supports student internships and projects conducting research in topics such as breast and prostate cancer, germ line and nervous system development, epigenetic mechanisms of gene regulation, blood and immune cell differentiation, cell reprogramming and engineering, and stem cell aging.

Your donation will allow students the opportunity to:

- Increase critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and strategic thinking

-   Connect classroom learning with real-world lab experience

-  Increase their commitment to a major via connections with faculty and other research scientists

-  Improve employment opportunities for graduating seniors by providing marketable skills
